Charles Heinz was an Atlanta native who received a Bachelor of Arts degree, Cum Laude, from the University of Georgia. He continued his education through the Life Underwriter Training Council, 1979; acquired his Chartered Life Underwriter designation, 1981; Chartered Financial Consultant designation, 1983; and Masters of Financial Services from the American College in Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania, 1988.
Mr. Heinz entered the business in 1978 with the Mattingly Murdock Agency. In 1983, he joined Heinz-Daniel Associates, Inc. and founded Heinz & Associates in 1996.
Mr. Heinz passed away in March of 2020 from Metastatic Prostate Cancer. He is survived by his wife, Patti, two daughters, Heather Heinz Szyperski and Brooke Heinz Chaplain.
Heather Heinz Szyperski graduated from The Westminster Schools in 2002 and received a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics, Cum Laude, with Honors from the University of Georgia in 2006. She has completed her Chartered Financial Consultant and Certified Life Underwriter designations from The American College in Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania.
Heather entered the business in 2006 as an Internal Wholesaler with Jackson National Life where she completed courses in IRA distributions, Charitable Remainder Trusts, Credit Shelter Trusts, Annuity Titling and 72 (t) and (q) distributions. She joined Heinz & Associates as the third generation in 2008.
